Chris Smith, Executive Director Clermont 20/20, Inc.

Chris Smith brings four decades of business experience to Clermont 20/20, Inc. This includes 20 years in the commercial banking industry, eight as President of a community banking organization. Chris spent a decade managing the real estate development, site selection, and build-to-suit activities for one of the country’s largest REITs, Teachers Insurance & Annuity of New York.

Chris also brings extensive public sector experience to the firm having served as the Economic Development Director for Clermont County and a staff member for Governor Bob Taft of Ohio. Chris worked to secure new companies, new investments, and new jobs for Ohio while administering various site selection, loan, research and development, and grant programs assisting companies in the growth, expansion, and relocation efforts.
